• Job Description

  Summary:  

  The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, executing and quality control of all the signage jobs executed in the Signarama Production facility.

  Principal Responsibilities

  • Planning and organizing staff shift rotation and tasks.
  • Motivating the production team
  • Producing management reports on performance
  • Stock control
  • Reporting plant or machinery breakdowns immediately 
  • Monitoring quality control
  • Identifying and organizing training needs.
  • Project management from start to finish.
  • Research on new types of signage.

  Skills

  • Machine shop experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to make drawings for manufacturing.
  • Follow safe work practices.
  • Experience reading machine drawings.
  • Ability and willingness to learn procedures, machining techniques and machinery operations.
  • Maintain tool operation, machinery safeguards, inspection, material storage, inventory control and documentation.
  • Attention to detail.

  Education

  Vocational or technical training.
