• Design and development of systems in Textile Machinery 
• New Concept development and Design modeling of systems.
• Design analysis & calculation 
• Manufacturing Follow up with the concerned department with respect to NPD
• Drawing Detailing of the system 
• Drawing alterations and improvement in the existing system
• To carry out activities related to DFSS for better productivity and cost savings & Target time.
• New concept development and patent development.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education-

UG:B.Tech/B.E. - Mechanical

PG:Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization

Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required

• The incumbent should be First Class Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution with an experience of 3-8 years in R&D
• IDEAS Software proficiency is preferable 
• Should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should stay abreast of new technology and competitive products
• Should carry Passion for Innovation

Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW) founded in the year 1962 is today a global player and one among the three manufacturers of entire range of Textile Spinning Machinery from Blow Room to Ring Spinning.

LMW over a period of time has gained world-wide reputation for its state of the art technology and high quality machinery. LMW is having a market share of 70% in the Indian market.

As a part of diversification efforts, LMW has established the Machine Tool Division in the year 1988 for the manufacture of CNC Machine Tools. The CNC Lathes and Machining Centres are supplied to the original equipment manufacturers, auto ancillaries and the general engineering industry.

LMW operates three foundries with a casting output capacity of 48,000 Tons per annum. Two of the foundries cater to the captive requirements of LMW, while one foundry manufactures ductile iron castings for captive use and also supplies to the Energy and Transportation sectors.

LMW has established Advanced Technology Centre in the year 2010 to manufacture Aero Space components viz: Engine Parts, Structural Parts and Landing Gears.

LMW has over the years installed windmills with a total power generation capacity of 36.50 MW.
